Mt. Rainer Park allows campers to camp in some "back-country" camp sites around the Park, and there's a great one southeast of Panhandle Gap that Larry Phill, Brett Aniballi and I camped at in July of 2009. We were visited by a herd of about 30 goats within 100 feet of our camp on the second night.
