Part of my early experiences in photography included taking pictures of the the Milwaukee Road, mainly in Tacoma. Before I had my drivers license, I had my dad (RP) drive me down to the yard on the tidelats to take pictures. Being a railfan himself, he took me on a few longer excursions to the Snoqualmie area, and as far east as Cle Elum. So the extent of this collection of shots consists of this segment of the railroad, specifically Tacoma.

MILW's electrification makes one think it had trackage rights on some interurban, so basic was the arrangement of catenary, wooden poles, and pull-offs.
