A UP freight exits the NP, now BN in this photo. This train has had no work in Tacoma yard, and has bypassed it by going "head-of-bay" (meaning around the end of the City/Foss Waterway on the NP/BN). Normally UP trains would run into, or out of the yard via the track at the right.
