I'm not sure what the reason was for our return itinerary, but our first stop was in Iceland. My guess is that it was to top off our fuel for a long flight back to Seattle. However, we then were diverted to New York for a change of planes. We then stopped in Phoenix on our way to L.A. We then changed planes again, with half the band on one commercial flight, half on another.
